Braids are SO in right now. French Braids, Dutch Braids, Fishtail Braids, Waterfall Braids, Waterfall Twists and Bohemian Twists.
Messy beach braids are everywhere. The awesome thing about braids is they can be so casual and so formal. Here are just a few pictures I grabbed from google images.

Yeah that’s a NORMAL braid. Curl your hair, put it in a side braid and pull the braid loose!
This is a dutch braid, can you see how the braid is reversed? You get this braiding the hair OVER each other instead of under. Tutorial in the ebook

See how this braid is different from Jennifer Anniston’s above? All that’s different is that top piece wasn’t added on to.

gorgeous. I do the side braid all the time…Totally unexpectedly, the boyfriend LOVES IT. I thought he’d think it was matronly or like I was in the Sound of Music or something…. Nope. he loves it.
Any tricks on how to do the dutch braid? I just can’t get my fingers to move that way naturally!

I love adding braids to my hair. Sometimes when I don’t feel like fixing my hair I’ll throw in an itty bitty braid near the front of my hair. It adds just a little something special to make the ‘untouched hair” look intentional . Love your hair tutorials!!
