I saw this on Pinterest and thought- that’s amazing!
I was going to try it out on myself and then I realized my arms would probably fall off in the process. Still worth the post though! Oh, and it was found off a Russian website. Another reason to post it! (If you’re a new reader, my parents are moving there for three years)

My grandmother (the sweetest little Russian lady you could ever meet) used to do her hair like this on an almost daily basis in the summer. Unfortunately, she passed away before she could teach me. I figure, if my arthritic baba could do it, this twenty-something could definitely try. Thanks for finding this — but most of all, for SHARING it.
Have a great day with the babies <3

Could you post the kind of bobby pins you use? I use the walmart kind, and they don’t hold very much hair or stay for very long. Maybe a link to a website where I can buy them? Thanks! This hairstyle is soo pretty:)
this is gorgeous, thanks for sharing!
What kind of braid is that? It doesn’t look like a four piece braid or a fishtail. I can’t figure it out.
It’s actually a fishtail!
I have a hair question for you… In all your up do hairstyles where you use bobby pins to help hold your hair up, what type of bobby pins do you use and how do you get them to stay. I have long hair and it is medium thickness. I have the hardest time getting my bobby pins to hold and stay in place. Any tips would be great!! Thanks. [email protected] Thanks for all your posts.. I love all your post. Thanks
Hi!! Using the right type of bobby pin is key. I get mine at Sally’s- check out All The Wonderful Products I Use post (there is a google sidebar on the right side of my blog) and there should be a picture of what they look like. Also, another huge thing is how you use it. The Fancy half up/formal pony/wedding bun video explains in detail how I use the bobby pin and how I get it to hold a ton of hair!! Good luck!
That’s gorgeous. Now I need to learn 4 strand braiding on my 5 year old…..
