A Huge Mickey Mouse Balloon

Meet Mickey.  He’s Boston’s best friend.  I filled him up at Smith’s for $1.50 and when I brought him home Boston insisted on bringing out our Minnie and Goofy (long story).  That silly boy!

This Mickey had been played with all day.  As you can see from the picture below, the tramp is a great place to play with Mickey.

That’s right.  He’d finally had enough.  After hours of being harassed our Mickey finally had it.  I can’t believe he lasted so long- those kids were ROUGH on him!

Boston was super sad at first, but then the kids had fun watching him float into the sky.

Party City sent me the 52″ gliding balloon that you can find here and want to offer a $50 giftcard to their store to one of my lucky readers!  These balloons are seriously awesome.  You can get a buzz lightyear, an elmo, dora, winnie the pooh- you name it.  The kids had so much fun playing with it.  It was pretty much adorable when Boston first saw him.  And honestly- I can’t believe he lasted as long as he did.  Boys.  Need I say more?!

To enter this giveaway all you need to do is leave a comment below letting me know how you’d spend your 50 bucks.  Any upcoming parties?!  Check out Party City!

  1. Oct-Dec is crazy around here. My friend’s baby is due, then my bday, then my anniversary, then my husband’s bday then Xmas SO I’m pretty sure Party City will already be on my To Do List. Winning would be great.

  2. Halloween isn’t too far off. I just bought our first house and want to let the neighbors know who we are. I want to go Big! I’m going to decorate our portch like the Bat-cave!

  3. Abby, great give away… as always. I could think of a couple ways to use it. My boys birthdays are in a few months and I have never thrown them a theme party! I know, what kinda mom right… but it would be fun to do. The other idea is to use it for Halloween costumes and decor. Gotta love Halloween! 🙂

  4. That’s adorable! Especially of you can’t really afford to go to Disney land yet! If I won’t the $50 to party city I would spend it in my baby girls 1st birthday in less then a month! I haven’t had time to do anything nor moment since I jist had major surgery:(

  5. I think I’d have to get a life-size cardboard cutout and put my little sister’s face on it. She’s on a mission & we’ve been joking around about taking her around town with us as a cutout, just to send her the pics. Maybe we’d actually do it with the gift card.

  6. Oh my goodness! My 3 year old LOVE balloons and LOVES Buzz so I’d definitely get him that balloon. And my oldest is turning 9 at the end of the month so I’d also get stuff for his party. 🙂

  7. i would throw a back to school party for my roommates and i. we’ll be starting our senior year in college and would love to have one last hoorah before classes start.

  8. We will be bringing our daughter home from China sometime after her 2nd Bday, but we plan to still have a huge party! $50.00 would go a long way!

  9. I would save it for my daughters 9th birthday which is Nov. 24th. I love that store. Even though the nearest location to me is 30 miles away, I always go there for all of my party needs. Great give-a-way.

  10. My son’s baptism to make it a little more special, my husband doesn’t start his new job for a few weeks so it would be awesome to be able to afford to make his day a little bit more special. 🙂

  11. I Love Party City!!! I was just in there yesterday looking for stuff for my birthday. Sadly, my party will be over by the time the giveaway is done. But we are always hosting parties and it would be amazing to get that gift card.

  12. I can spend that 50.00 in a heartbeat. I plan to host a Thankgiving dinner for the less fortunate and I would use the money to buy decorations. 🙂

  13. Hi Abby – love your blog. My nephew turns 4 next weekend and his mom just broke her ankle so I have offered to lend a hand to help plan his party. He is a gigantic Lightning McQueen fan so his auntie would be a super hero if she could score a gift card to party city and get him a gigantic lightning balloon.

    Thanks – PJ

  14. I would use the $50 to purchase some fun decorative stuff for my classroom, like streamers, balloons, etc., especially for special occasions like back to school night or orientation night!

  15. Both of my boys have birthday in Jan – just a day apart…I’m sure I could take that $50 pretty far between the two parties.
    Thanks!

  16. That Mickey Mouse balloon is adorable and I bet those kids loved every minute of playing with him! I would LOVE to win this gift card because Parker’s first birthday is coming up in October and we want to have a big birthday party with my family, Eric’s family and all of his birth family….that’s seriously like 80 people and little things add up so fast! Thanks for the opportunity to enter to win! Hope things are going well with your big move!
