Happy Halloween

There’s a reason why this holiday is my favorite

The month of October has been everything but normal.  We bought pumpkins and never found time to carve them.  We had all the ingredients to make Halloween treats and never got around to actually baking anything.  This month has just been one thing after another.  At times trying to live up to the expectations of Halloween can be a little bit discouraging.  And then all that discouragement just dissipates as you watch how happy your children are as they run from door to door with a bag of candy.  The smile on Boston’s face just melted my entire world.  He and his friends laughing at the door step waiting for their candy…  I’m gonna say it…   it was priceless.  And then there’s our little cougar.  Ew I just want to squish her and kiss her all over.  In the end all those unfinished Halloween projects don’t matter.  The messy house covered in toys and and art projects paint the picture of a happy home and happy children.  And really that’s all you can ask for.

Brian and I have been blessed with the most wonderful friends.  The Murray’s on your left and the Christensen’s in the middle.  Then you have the shorties on the right…  ha ha, this picture reminds me of when we first moved here and I met Merrick.  One of the first things she said to me was, “You seem so much taller in your pictures”! HA!  Love that girl.  It’s so true though.  Why am I sooo stinkin’ short!  Thank heavens though for all my wonderful friends and their amazing kids who love Boston.  See that little girl there in the front?  Her name is Brynn.  Boston calls her Brynnie and he’s just a little bit in love with her.  Every day he wants to go play with “my Brynnie”.  Cutest thing ever.
Anyway.  I hope your Halloween was as enjoyable as ours.  I hope you’re loving the new name and look.  Ahhh isn’t it so peaceful here?  Organized and clutter free.  It’s the best!  If you haven’t entered the giveaway yet, scroll down below and give it a go!  Nothin’s better than 65 winners!
