A little bit of lace

Lace top- c/o Chicwish
Denim button up- Jcrew Factory Outlet
Jeggings- American Eagle (color gone but these ones are so cute too)
Cheetah Pumps- Target
Necklace- Forever 21 (out of stock but love this one)

Something to mention about this fabulous shirt is that it’s got bell sleeves.  If that’s you’re style then you’re gonna love it.  If it’s not, you’ll need to either roll them up or pair it with a blazer or a shirt underneath like I did.  I love how this top polishes off an outfit so perfectly.  I’ve been surprised with how much I can pair it with.   My next outfit with this shirt will be my new pencil skirt (just went on clearance for $40… you need it I promise) and blazer.
If you haven’t entered the $100 giveaway to the online fashion shop, Chicwish which is where the lovely shirt comes from, scroll a little bit further down and enter!
Now because I know you all want to know.  It’s been raining here in Washington for the past two weeks… there were maybe two sunny days.  Annnnnddd I’m not gonna lie…  It’s KILLING me!!  Especially when I see all my friends sunning it up at the park in 85 degree weather.
I guess that’s the west coast though for ya, huh?  Calling all mommas who live in Washington!!  What in the world do you do to stay sane?!  Don’t worry I just invested in some rain boots.  For all of us.  But I need like, some friends for my kids or, well a car would probably be nice… haha!!  Oh the joys of living somewhere for only four months.
I hope warm weather for all of you!

  1. Love your top! I am from Washington and love it! My cousins live in Gig Harbor. ITs so pretty. Have you visited Seattle yet? Ride the Ferry and go visit! Feed the seagulls at Ivars..they literally take the fries out of her hands. Pike place and the science center are fun too! 🙂

  2. Ah, I live in Washington too (vancouver) and I’m going a little bit nuts right now. This time of year is sooo hard cause EVERYONE else seems to have gorgeous weather. And we’re Rainy McRainston. I just make sure to never miss going outside when the sun is out and we have passes to children’s museums and stuff in the area.
And yes, cute rain boots and cute umbrella help 🙂

  3. Abby I live North of Seattle too and when it rains it doesn’t last long! Its beautiful here in Bellingham, my kids are so glad we moved here from Texas 6 months ago. We go to local parks a lot and hit up parades that happen often too! Like today! Hope it gets better for you!

  4. You might be crazy for moving to WA….even if its only for four months. We are local (just north of Seattle) and I don’t stay sane. We’re actually talking about moving….away from our entire family….because the weather blows. But hit the zoo on a sunny day and you’ll smile big =)
