DRESS: Banana Republic (no longer available) but I found it on ebay here, or similar here and here | SHOES: Chuck Taylor Converse | BAG: Similar here and here | LEVI JACKET: Oldnavy |  WATCH: c/o Arvo | BRACELET: Similar here | NECKLACE: c/o Maya Brenner

We’ve officially moved into our temporary town home and life here in Ohio has been pretty great.  Everyone I’ve met has been so kind and warm to my family and I.  I know that your experience is what you put into it and I’m really excited to turn this unfamiliar place into our home.  Today’s outfit is a casual street style.  I’m absolutely in love with ponte dresses right now because they’re so versatile.  Dress them down with some tennis shoes (trending like crazy right now), a tied around the waist denim jacket and a casual cross body shoulder bag or, dress them up with high heels, a blazer, a statement necklace and clutch.  I’m mormon, if you didn’t already know, and I dress very modestly.  It’s pretty hard to find dresses these days that come to the knee so my little trick is to order dresses online in a size tall.  The body and everything fit the same but it gives you a few extra inches in the length.  Haha it’s ironic that I’m ordering a tall when I’m only 5’2″!

On a different note, there’s this new fashion app I just found out about called WEAR.  It’s a fashion community featuring daily trending looks by brands and fashionistas all over the world.  There’s a couple ways to use it 1) You can snap photos of items you want to buy while shopping and then your friends can help you decide what to get or how to style it.  You can shop from the actual app too so it makes shopping super easy when browsing what other people are wearing.  2)  You can snap a photo of yourself in the mirror before heading off to school or work and upload it to the app sharing the details of your outfit.  Then the app will show you how other women styled those same pieces giving you loads of outfit inspiration!  I created a WEAR profile and uploaded this outfit.  It was super easy to use and the website is very clean and modern looking which is always appealing.  If you love finding new ways to style what you already have in your closet, new things you’ve just purchased or don’t know what to buy next, check out this newly launched app out!  On October 31st one blogger (insert hand raised emoji here) and one lucky reader will be selected to have a look they shared on WEAR featured on a page in NYLON Magazine so make sure you sign up and start using it!

Thanks WEAR  for sponsoring this post.  All opinions are my own.
