PB&J Skewers + Olly Vitamins

A little while back I posted a photo on instagram of some PB&J skewers I made with the kids and I thought it’d be fun to share it here on the blog!  It’s one my favorite things to make because it fulfills 3 of my daily to-do’s: 1) make the kids a healthy lunch 2) spend quality time with the little rascals (yes, that’s something I actually have to write down or it doesn’t happen ha ha!) and 3) Do an art project or craft with them.  Making these skewers is like hitting three birds with one stone so I’m all for it + they’ll actually eat them and they’re super transportable which is a bonus!

In line with the healthy lunch, I’m sharing my love for the Olly vitamins which I found a few months ago.  The ingredients in the Olly vitamins are far superior to what I was previously giving my kids and the colors and flavors come from all natural ingredients.  My kids love them and don’t tell anyone, but I totally bribe them with their vitamins.  “You can have your vitamins only if you finish your lunch”!  I’m sneaky like that… whatever it takes though to keep my kids healthy I’m all for.

^^ I feel like you’ve seen me here chopping a lot lately!!  The first thing you wanna do is make your pb&j sandwich, chop off the crust and then cut it into small squares.  The great thing about these skewers is you can put whatever you want on them.  We’ve used strawberries, grapes, blueberries, cucumbers and string cheese cut up into squares, also olives, peppers, carrots, bananas, pretty much anything your kiddos will eat will work!

^^ I buy the regular bbq skewers and I just let the kids go to town making sure they’re putting enough fruits and veggies on their skewer as they go.5

^^^ If you’re needing to pack a lunch to eat in the car or you’re going to the park I just cut the skewers in half and throw them in a divided container.

Not only does Olly make great vitamins for kids but they have awesome vitamins for men and women too!  They’re blended to be more effective than other gummy vitamins because they pair nutrients in powerful combos which helps your body absorb all the the phytonutrients and antioxidants!  So if you’re looking for an easy and fun way to give your kids and even yourself a healthy dose of vitamins make sure to check them out!
