It’s in the Details

I’m back!!  If you follow me on snapchat or instagram, you know we’ve been traveling quite a bit as of late, first to Utah and then to Chicago.  I didn’t have time to schedule any posts so the blog has been a little silent — sorry ’bout that!  I’m back though and have some really fun things planned, so don’t go too far.

This outfit and hairstyle have pretty much been on repeat.  These jeans are quite literally the comfiest pair of jeans I own… and the most expensive, eeeek!  There’s something to be said about a really nice pair of jeans though. They just fit so. dang. good!!  

They don’t lose their shape throughout the day like other jeans I own, the length is perfect for my super short legs (I’m only 5’2″) and the distressing isn’t overdone.  If you’ve wanted to splurge on a pair, I definitely recommend these ones.  I also love this tee because it has the cutest little details that give it a little extra somethin’ special.  It’s light enough for those really hot days but the color screams fall and it’s not too tight, boxy or blousy – it’s just right 🙂  This exact one is out of stock, but I linked up to a couple others that are really cute!  When shopping, just keep in mind those little details because they make all the difference!

Anyway, I just wanted to drop a line and say hello!!  I just finished packing Boston’s lunch for school tomorrow.  Do I really have a first-grader?  Our summer is officially over and I’m not sure how I feel about it.  So happy to finally be back in a routine but it’s kind of sad to say goodbye.  It seems like just the other day I was sharing our summer bucket list on snapchat!  I’d love to hear about your summer and the things you enjoyed doing with your families!
