And onto the hair and makeup! I’ve literally worn this dutch side braid every day for weeks now. It’s just so easy to style, I get so many compliments on it and if I sleep in it I wake up with the prettiest waves! I just published a new tutorial for it here if you want to check it out!

I used Stila Kitten as the base, and then I just bought several Colour Pop shadows and I’m in LOVE with them!!!! They’re only $4 too, so you definitely need to snag some. I used beach blanket as the transition color, cloud nine and boxer in the crease and then ready or yacht right below my brows. I just bought several more to see if I can’t find a good Kitten dupe, because if I can find one for $4 instead of $18? I’m sold haha!

I walked into Ulta and handed the salesperson my phone and she walked me around the entire store putting items in the bag for me. We had a blast haha. So thankful for your knowledge of makeup. Is there a certain product you use in your hair to keep the braid from frizzing? ?
So, 2 questions. 1. I can do the dutch braid, but I really struggle keeping it close to my face and not going back towards the back of my head. Suggestions? 2. My hair isn’t as long as yours, so when I finish, I only have like 3 or 4 inches of braid that just barely hits my shoulder. Suggestions on how to finish it off? I usually do some sort of bun.

Is the tutorial for your side dutch braid the same braid you used in the insta video? It looks like you just continued the dutch braid in the insta video and in the side braid dutch tutorial you tied it in with a regular braid? I’ve tried to copy this side braid, but I’m having trouble braiding along the back (it’s like braid dyslexia or something and comes out twisted). HELP?!
