WHY: Boyfriend Button Ups

Boyfriend Button-Ups!  They’re easily one of my favorite wardrobe staples.  I wanted to share a few different ways I like to style them + dish the retailers I find has the best and most affordable button ups.  Goodness gracious, have you ever noticed just how expensive button up shirts are?!  It’s like buying a pair of jeans!  There are a few things I look for in a good button up shirt, and I only buy them when they’re on sale.  Old Navy, American Eagle, Forever 21, H+M — you can always get cute button up shirts from those retailers at a fairly reasonable price.  I like to wear my button ups one of four different ways: 1 – I like them wrapped around my waist, with a tee and leggings or distressed denim.  Super casual!  2 – I like to wear them unbuttoned, usually with a v-neck tee underneath.  3-  I like to wear them alone and just tucked in, like I’m wearing here today.  I usually

Hey babes!!!  I’m sharing another winter outfit with you today, one that I’ve got a lot of comments on… y’all have been obsessed with this winter green moto jacket!!  Understandably so, it’s literally the prettiest color on planet earth.  I love wearing moto jackets because they’re a little bit edgier and more tailored than other jackets.  I like when mine hit right at the hips to accentuate the waist. You’ve seen these high waisted jeans on me a lot lately… for good reason.  They’re undoubtedly the comfiest jeans I’ve ever worn!  Plus they’re slimming and cut short in the ankle so I don’t have to roll them!  And of course, every single winter wardrobe needs at least one turtle neck.  I have this black and white striped one that I wear with everything and another cream one that looks great layered with other tops.Like we’ve talked about before, I’m all about buying pieces that coordinate and can go with everything in my closet.  This green

10 Ways to be a Better Mom.

At the beginning of this year I spent quite a bit of time re-evaluating my priorities.  It should have been easy to do because family has always been number one, right?!  As I dug a little deeper, and looked back on the habits I’d made since we moved back to Utah, I realized that my kids had taken a back seat.  Not on purpose, obviously, and we still spent lots of time together, but I just felt like my quality time with them had dwindled.  Being awfully honestly with myself, I realized I just wasn’t making them a priority.  My little BFF starts first grade in the fall, so I have this small window of opportunity to really seize some great moments with her and get into a routine that really compliments us both. As I’ve been preparing for 2018, and setting new goals, I’ve decided to make my kids the real priority.  And that doesn’t mean I’ll be quitting all the things and spoiling them.
