Turkey Lettuce Cups + OK Soy Vay

Finger lickin’ good!!!  Brian and I have really been focusing on our health these last few months – less eating out, meal prepping, more home cooked meals and finding time to work out.  We were just stuck for so long in these terrible habits and when the new year hit we decided it was now or never and that being healthy needed to become a priority.  I’ve had a pretty awesome journey, I’ve lost 20 pounds, I’m in great shape and I’m finally feel like my old self again.  There are a few things I attribute our success to and today I wanna share one of our favorite meals, the Turkey Lettuce Cups from Debi Mazar, chat about meal prepping and talk about my recipe experience with OK Soy Vay! Banana Muffins + Banana Frosting

Well little miss Savy Jane had her fourth birthday. I’m still in denial and don’t like to talk about it!  For her classroom party at school we were asked to bring in something “healthy”… something with no dyes and no frosting. No cupcakes. If you follow me on snapchat (twistmepretty2) you know that I wasn’t happy about this! Savy has been so exited to celebrate her birthday at school all year long and she’s been perfecting her baking skills just for the occasion. Of course I had to be a rebel and we made some “healthy” banana bread that I let her frost anyway. I know the teachers were so grateful someone finally broke the rules! I’m mean c’mon!
