My new favorite “classy” hairstyle. I know. I know. Every day becomes my favorite! This one I found here. Lauren Conrad has just launched her new fashion site. You guys should go check it out if you have some time. She’s got some great advice and tutorials. ANYWAY! It’s pretty huh?! I love the contrasting colors from my underneath hair showing through. For some reason the photo took a little more red, my natural color is just straight ash.

How I love to do it but my hair is short. I have to wait for more than 5 months before I can get the desired length. Anyway, thanks to the tutorial. 🙂
So easy…thanks for the tutorial!
wow it looked so easy in the pics but when i pull it through it looks NOTHING even close to how that step should look… i do not understand this!
i had a problem with wings behind my ears popping up when i tucked and couldn’t get them pinned down right. any suggestions?
I also want to echo a desire to see a video (later….no rush!). Something is getting majorly lost in translation for me when I pull that ponytail through….my end result is a hot mess! 🙂
Love these hairstyles….I’m learning so much!
When you have time I would love a video tutorial of this hairstyle. I’ve been trying this for 2 days and can’t get it to stay. Maybe I need some large bobby pins? Do you have tips for the tucking part, that seems to be where it all falls apart for me. I have a lot of hair so maybe that is why. It looks so cute on you, I really want to see if I can’t get this one mastered. I’ve looked on youtube but can’t find a tutorial like this style. Just when you have time, I know how crazy motherhood is! Thanks!

I would love to get a video up everytime. I just don’t have my mom available to me everyday. And because I’m first and foremost a mom- It’s just about the best I can do at this point!
I would recommend putting a video up just in case. I know time is limited being a mom and all, but sometimes its better to be more detailed for readers than less. I have been following your blog for awhile now, as well as TONS of other home interior blogs and I always find that the more detail the better! Thanks!
I love chignons! I’ve wondered how to do them. Thanks for the tutorial!
Love this one! Super classy 🙂 I’ll have to try it for church for sure!
Oh I love it! Can’t wait to try it out, it looks so complicated, but the pictures make it seem easy so I’m hopeful 🙂
