Hi there!! I’m Abby…
I’m known as mom during the day to my four favorite humans – Boston, Savy and my twin boys Kai and Cooper. They are literally the cutest and craziest kids on earth and I have so much fun doing life with them. I look at life with rose colored glasses and if there’s a problem that needs to be solved or someone who needs to be loved, I’m your girl.
Ever since I can remember I’ve been a doer. As a little girl I remember wanting so badly to play at a friends house but neither of our parents were home to make it happen. So I hopped in my little battery operated jeep and drove myself across town. I couldn’t have been older than six. My whole life has been like that, one crazy idea after the next. I’m not afraid of failure and I love challenging myself to learn new things. Hair for instance. When I started this blog back in 2010 I didn’t know how to do my hair… at all. I didn’t know how to french braid, had no idea how to curl my hair without looking like Shirley Temple, no disrespect Shirls, and I thought it was time to finally do right by my hair! Thanks to YouTube I was able to get a proper education ha and decided to share what I’d learned with the five people who read my little craft blog! Little did I know it would lead to all of this and I’m so grateful I took that step.
What do I do?
Over the years I’ve learned to become a photographer, a model, a web page designer, an expert in Photoshop, a graphic designer, a writer, a social media guru, a videographer and of course, one of my new favorite titles, an entrepreneur with my new product based business Flourish. Creating content is constantly challenging me to think outside the box, to hone in on my craft and I’m incredibly thankful for the new friends I’ve made along the way, the brands that have trusted me to represent them, and my readers who keep showing up for me. So please, jump in! And when you come upon a post or video published in my earlier days, I give you full permission to laugh. Hey, a girl’s gotta start somewhere! Here’s to not being afraid of trying new things and just doing.
“Hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard”. I’m a firm believer in working hard for the things you want. Nothing is out of reach. So work hard, go and do and be happy! Muah!
