Day 26- Braided Headband

This is such a versatile style.  I like to wear it with the bangs braided into a headband, or slightly angled back like the picture below and on the left.  Or I like to leave the bangs down and french braid the other side down like in the picture on the right.  So many variations!  This should count as three days.  PSH!

Until tomorrow!

  1. Hi Abby! I love your blog! I found it through stumbleupon. The moment I saw all of the hairstyles, I was SO excited because I’m tired of wearing my hair the same everyday! It gets boring super quickly. I love all of them, but this one really intrigued me, but when I clicked on the video to watch it, it says it’s private. I would love to see how to do it because, honestly, when it comes to hair I am challenged. I need all the help I can get! I hope you get back to me! Thanks! 🙂

  2. I have NEVER been able to french braid my mother always did mine growing up and I had no sisters so I have only used regular braids recently. After watching the video I was able to do a french braid the first time! I was so excited I may need some practice but it was a great first time!I have a question I have pretty thin hair but at least I have quite a bit of it with bangs that swoop to the side which is all parted to the side so it falls to the left. I was having problems with the hairband because my bangs it is shorter do you have any suggestions? Also what size curling iron do you normally use? Thanks! I love the book I printed it out then laminated the pages and used my Cinch to make it a book!

  3. I just found your blog today off I Am Momma Hear Me Roar, and a huge THANK YOU! My whole life I’ve felt my options for hair were up, down, or half up, and now I use the excuse of being a mom as a reason to have 12 year old messy hair. So thank you for being good with hair and cute and fun to watch videos of.

I just attempted this during my son’s nap and though it’s rough, it turned out pretty cute. I’m excited to keep experimenting with my fried hair and clumsy hands.

Is your e-book out yet? Totally excited for that. Thanks for all you do – recommending you to all of my friends!

  4. I’ve been trying to figure out the braided headband on my own for about two months now. I’m a school teacher and ALL my female students rock this style and I just couldn’t seem to figure it out. I came across your blog the other night and followed your tutorial yesterday, figuring it was perfect for a Memorial Day BBq. And let me tell you, I ROCKED OUT with that braid:) I got so many compliments and people asking me how to do it. So, thanks for helping me finally figure it out:) You ROCK my socks!!
