There was a time I hated the dutch braid… I thought it popped out funny and looked weird on my head. Now I almost can’t remember how to do anything else! They’re just so dramatic and I love all the colors they make with my blonde hair. Have you learned how to dutch braid yet? I’m thinking of doing a very slow tutorial on the basics. Let me know in the comments what you’re still struggling with when you braid. Does the braid slip out after you fluff it out? Are your fingers getting tangled and you can’t remember the steps? Keep me posted so I know how to help ya!
Today I’m sharing some day-to-night dutch braid hairstyles — this pretty dutch-braided ponytail + a dutch braided half up style. I filmed this video for Cute Girls Hairstyles’ channel last week and I hope you guys enjoy!
(Sorry those pictures are crazy vibrant; they must have edited the thumbnail! :))

Love this look especially the ponytail version! I would love a video on details like how to pancake the braid without the whole thing loosening 10 minutes later and what products you use to volumize the braid while keeping the ends from popping out! ❤
My hair is sooo thin. Most of my braids end up looking like little toddler braids…not very glam!!
Yah, same happens to me every time 🙁 For thin hair, braids are really difficult and I always prefer short haircut for my hair. Found some great styles here: https://www.betrendsetter.com/best-hairstyles-for-fine-thin-hair/ Perhaps, you might want to take a look.
Hey! Thanks Melind!
So pretty! Have you been using self tanner? Your arms & hands look so tanned in this vid!
This is so pretty! PLEASE do a slow tutorial on it-I still haven’t manage to quite grasp it!
