Day 30- The Waterfall Braid

The end has finally come.  I feel like there should be fireworks or something!!  Can you believe it’s over?  If you’ve loved following along I would LOOOOVE for you to subscribe to my weekly newsletter!  It’s eeasy peeasy.  And there will be exclusive gems and tutorials!

So, without further adieu.  I have saved my most favorite hair style for last.  This hairstyle is safe for me because it gets the hair mostly out of my face, my hair can be dirty or clean and I know that it will always work.  Sometimes a style won’t work if you’re having a bad hair day, or if your hair is too clean or dirty!  But this one.  It works.  Every time.  And I love it.  And I hope you guys love it too!!

  1. Thank you for making hair seem easy! I’ve never known what to do with my hair, and I just stumbled across your blog today. Love how easy you make everything. I’m excited to try so many different things and have a few go-to new styles! Thanks!!

  2. Thank you for these video tutorials! I am suddenly a little bit obsessed with My Yellow Sandbox! I sneak off to the computer when I think my littles might be occupied for a few minutes and I do my hair along with you. They always seem to come in during the middle of it, but I am determined to master at least ONE of these beautiful styles. There always seems to be some little part that I can’t quite get and I find myself trying to work it out in my head so I can try again when I get a minute! Silly, I know, but thank you.

  3. I absolutely love this hairstyle!! It would be my favorite, except that I can’t do it on myself!! 🙁 My cute little sister-in-law stayed with us this weekend and I did it on her! It was SO cute! I even had to take pictures and blog about it! 🙂 I need to keep practicing so I can do it on myself!! I’m obsessed!

  4. I did my hair like this yesterday and I felt like a freaking ROCKSTAR! Everywhere I went people stopped to ask me how I had done it and tell me how cool it looked! I referred them all to your blog! Thanks!

  5. Abby, you are GENIUS!! I LOVE your hairstyles that you’ve been given!! This one is so awesome, I’ve NEVER seen it. I’m so excited to try it. I would definitely buy your ebook because I have THREE girls. Three!! Well, one is super bald but I’m assuming she will grow hair as she’s a baby. 🙂 Thank you for all the work you do for these. I’ve been getting awesome feedback on their hair. People think I’m really creative all of a sudden. Ha! Don’t worry, I tell them to come here! 🙂 Thanks again!!!

  6. You are such an adorable gal and I’ve loved looking through all the great hairstyles! Thank you for sharing! I just linked to your blog today with pictures of me doing this one – you’ve inspired us! 🙂

  7. Beautiful! I have done your triple bun thing like ten times since I first found your website. This one looks so pretty. I will try it when I have some time… I am pretty hair-styling deficient.

  8. This is awesome! I can’t wait to try it…and I must say…I LOVE Sally’s! They have such affordable, quality stuff! I have never bought their bobby pins though! Such good info. Thanks for ALL of the hard work on this! It’s so nice to have fresh options!

  9. Ok so I had to remove the post tutorial on lock braiding because something happened on youtube with the sound and picture being way off, but once i figure out how to fix it ill let ya know!

  10. I have been trying to do some of the hair styles, but was getting frusterated because my bobby pins would never stay! I didn’t relize there are better bobby pins out there. I had just been using the goody one! Going to have to go to Sally! Thanks, I will try agian with new bobby pins! 🙂

  11. Thanks for all the inspiration this month. I have loved checking in every day. Doing hair is really hard for me but I am inspired to try a few things now. Thanks!

  12. Oh, I just LOVE all of these and am SO excited for an E-book! Thanks for the Bobby Pin info too. The Goody ones NEVER work for me so I was at a loss here! Thanks for sharing all your amazing hair styles! 😉

  13. Actually, I’ve never been asked and I should have said! I do not use Goody bobby pins- they are awful! Maybe that’s everyone’s issues with how I bobby pin stuff! I use the kind you get at Sally’s. They come in a huge pack for like, 4 bucks. I’ll update my product page and hopefully get a picture on there! They hold tons!

  14. Thank you so much for all the tutorials! I can’t believe it’s over. I have tried more styles in the past month (usually a day behind you) than I have ever! What a great feature! I’m sure you have answered this somewhere, but what type of bobby pins do you use? Just standard Goody ones or something a bit nicer? Thanks!
