Dear Coop.

How is it even possible to love someone so much?!  I constantly go between wanting you to stay my sweet baby forever and being so excited to see all the wonderful things you’re going to do with this life.  You are always surprising us.  You started off as a quiet little thing who was always so happy and content.  Thank goodness because we know your brother was quite the opposite!  You were patient with me, you followed your own timeline and weren’t in any hurry to crawl or walk and you honestly didn’t have much to say.  You were the best baby this world has ever seen and oh how I wish I had been able to enjoy your gooiness just a little bit more!  And now?  Well now you’re a chatter box who isn’t afraid to voice your opinions, to bite when you feel a toy is being threatened, to kick and scream and push back when things don’t go your way!  But you know what?  I am so happy to see you’ve got fight in you!  You’re still the sweetest little thing.  And all the words you’re saying right now have me in a puddle.  You’ve turned into this baby genius who plots and schemes and sometimes I just can’t believe how smart you really are!

Your cry is hilarious!  You do this thing where you push all the air out of your body so fast that you make the cutest little sheep whimper.  You throw the biggest temper tantrums.  Are you’re strong too!!  We were told that you wouldn’t run as fast or play as hard as the other kids your age but goodness gracious have you proved them all wrong.  You seek adventure.  You would live outside if we let you.  You love being thrown up in the air and you’re obsessed with twisting lids on and off!  You’re fearless.  You love french fries.  And more than anything, you love your sweet sister “Sabi”, your “ba-ba” and Kai.  Y ou do things to the beat of your own drum, you’re as passionate as they come and I know that you’re going to be an amazing leader one day.  

I am proud of many things in this life Coop, but nothing beats being you’re mom.
