Are you guys re-re-ready for this one?! The tutorial is a bit choppy because there was a lot going on backstage at the salon but I absolutely had to share this footage with you. Tyler Laswell, from TRESemmé, is the genius behind this braided faux hawk tutorial and well, he’s nothing less than ahhh-mazing. So please, go grab a drink and some popcorn because you’re just about ready to be Laswell’d hahaha!!
Fun Fact: Tyler actually braided all four sections until we decided we wanted to add some extensions. He had to take out all the braids and go back in and add them! I’m wearing the I-Do Clip ins from Laced Hair and my color is a golden blonde mix.
^^ Go see my gorgeous bestie Leanne, for see more photos of our experience and the gorgeous outfits she put together! Images obviously stolen from her site… thanks friend 🙂

dye can you edit it for me. I can’t get at it now lol
I am going to try the faux hawk. I need to die my roots first. 🙂 I am in my 50’s so I don’t know if it will suit me. My hair is really long so I won’t need extensions.
Love your hair. Great post.
Love this look! Was this on your new shorter ‘do or your older long hair?
