Braided Faux Hawk Tutorial

Are you guys re-re-ready for this one?!  The tutorial is a bit choppy because there was a lot going on backstage at the salon but I absolutely had to share this footage with you.  Tyler Laswell, from TRESemmé, is the genius behind this braided faux hawk tutorial and well, he’s nothing less than ahhh-mazing.  So please, go grab a drink and some popcorn because you’re just about ready to be Laswell’d hahaha!!

step by steps braided faux hawk

Fun Fact:  Tyler actually braided all four sections until we decided we wanted to add some extensions.  He had to take out all the braids and go back in and add them!  I’m wearing the I-Do Clip ins from Laced Hair and my color is a golden blonde mix.

  1. I am going to try the faux hawk. I need to die my roots first. 🙂 I am in my 50’s so I don’t know if it will suit me. My hair is really long so I won’t need extensions.

  2. Please let me know if you’re looking for a author for your weblog.
You have some really good posts and I think I would be a good
asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to write some content for your blog in exchange for
a link back to mine. Please blast me an e-mail if interested.
    Kudos!
