DRESS: c/o Floral Painted Dress by Teri Jon | CLUTCH: Embossed Suede | CAGED PUMPS: DV by Dolce Vita (clearance!!) | BRACELETS: c/o Crystal Dot: here and similar here. Gold: Similar here and here | Dagger Earrings: c/o Sole Society | Lipstick: Mac Russian Red mixed with an orange color from Target
Isn’t this dress so pretty? I absolutely adore Teri Jon dresses. They are all very modest with classic silhouettes that flatter any figure. I chose this bright colored dress because I felt like it went well with my bold combined fishtail braid. I’ve been getting some comments on this hairstyle and you should know, I realize this braid is special occasion only! I would never wear it around the house or even on a Friday night date. I would however, wear it to a concert or to a themed school dance, or you know… a runway show! I can style everyday conservative hairstyles any day of the week so I was happy to have this bold bohemian fishtail braid for the day!
^^ Leanne and I anxiously awaiting the Mara Hoffman show. This was one of my favorite shows as far as wearable style goes. Her prints were amazing and I loved the bright bold colors!
^^ I was interviewed by E! and I was pretty excited when they titled the video “Street Hair Do’s Invading New York Fashion Week. Which hairstyles are making major statements on the streets on New York City? Check out NYFW’s wildest hairdos including the fishtail fauxhawk!” Haha, my one moment of fame. Fun huh?! You can watch the video here. A huge shout out to Xavier Jimenez, stylist at the TRESemmé Trend Bar and Salon for helping me turn heads!
