Another Smith family Halloween down in the books! We were a little behind this year… scrambling for costumes at the last minute! I snatched the older kids’ costumes on Amazon and my shorts + shirt and the babies pikachu jammies are from Walmart. They were actually a size 10 and my mom hacked them into little bite sized pikachu’s – so grateful she was visiting or I’m not sure what we would have done! I also had some cool gloves for Brian but after our ward Halloween party he couldn’t find them. For the past couple years I’ve tried to incorporate a theme into our family costumes that have meant something to us. Last year everyone was obsessed with Star Wars (post here) and this year Pokemon has been the huge thing. I’ve learned that if I want my kids to cooperate at all, they’ve gotta be dressed up as something they really love + I’m sure it’ll make things more memorable when we look back on these pictures years from now. Every year we have so much fun dressing up though, hopefully I’ll get at least a few more before my kids revolt and think it’s way uncool!
