Right this very minute I’m on a plane heading to Cleveland, Ohio. Brian’s been offered a job near Avon Lake and the company is flying us out to visit before we make our final decision. Any readers from Ohio? It’s scary to think about leaving Utah… Our families live here, our traditions are here and all the things we love are here. I’m so excited for the next chapter in our lives and so grateful he’s been offered this amazing opportunity, but it’s definitely overwhelming and so scary to think about leaving the only place I’ve ever called home.
The other day I was at Target and came upon this $12 polka dot tee. I had to share it with you because it’s one of my new favorite pieces. And it was $12, so that’s always awesome. I naturally gravitate towards tee shirts because they’re safe. They’re easy to wear, they’re usually a decent price and they can be dressed up or down depending on the event. I quickly threw a little collage together of how I’d style this tee shirt three other ways. What do you think, what outfit is your favorite? The polka dots are fairly large so I didn’t want to pair the tee with another large pattern. A small floral pattern, thin stripes, even small polka dots would be so cute to mix with this tee. I think my favorite style is the middle one. Layering the tee over a short sleeved chambray shirt, tucking them into a bright skirt, adding a belt, a clutch and some wedges makes for the perfect outfit! How would you wear this tee?

Greetings from Florida! I’m bored to tears at work so I decided to browse your
website on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the
information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m surprised at how quick your blog loaded on my mobile ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, superb site!
Love your hair in this! Do you have a tutorial for how to do it?
Yeah you can find it here https://www.twistmepretty.com/hairstyle-gallery It’s the soft dutch braid!
you’re darling and i love me those utah mountains 🙂
Hi Abby! I live in Lexington. Ohio so about a hour and a half from Cleveland. We have awful winters and beautiful summers. I don’t think it will be like Utah but that would be great if one of my fav bloggers lived in ohio! Haha hope it goes well!
I bawled the day I found out my husband didn’t get into the U for med school and we were headed to Ohio instead. I knew no other life than Utah. Everyone was there. And I bawled our first night in Ohio. That was almost 8 years ago and we’ve now lived in Ohio, Nevada, and Maryland. I PROMISE you will make forever friendships and it will be an incredible experience if you jump in with both feet!
I’m really excited about the new adventure, definitely sad to leave. I’m so happy you had a great experience, I’m hopeful we’ll have the same experience. Fingers crossed!
Yes, I’m in Ohio! we are in the Toledo area which is about two hours from there. If you do come, I would love the opportunity to meet you!
That would be an adventure for sure…but a fun one, indeed!
In love with those distressed shorts! I had never heard of that brand so I’m excited to look around on their website!
Fun! If you take the job you have to go to the African Safari Wildlife Park! It is crazy and fun and I bet your kids will love it! It’s crazy the animals stuck their heads in your car! Lol Cedar point is awesome too for a date with the hubby. And the zoo is pretty awesome and huge (and has great indoor stuff for winter)! The lake is like an ocean it’s so huge and there are even “beaches”. Jayden loved going to the beach while we lived there. The people are all so nice and you are way close to lots of church history sites! 🙂 We were not there the entire winter (we left in February) so I can’t say much about that but from June to February we loved it!
I’m so happy you loved it! That’s definitely reassuring. This is all so stressful!
I just commented on your 30 days-Tory again! I actually live in Westlake. Which is one town over from Avon Lake. Small small world. I have a feeling you would love the area-we sure do! 🙂
Thanks for the helpful tips! I am loving polka dots right now 🙂

Thank you!!! I just do it in pages on my mac, it let’s you chop the background of an image really easily. Then I take a screen shot of it all and throw it into photoshop for the text.
