a graduation story

Remember how I graduated, like… oh three years ago?  It was one of the best days of my life.

Weren’t Brian and I just a couple of love birds?  That kiss commemorated the day we became True T-Birds.  Ahh, good times.  Can you see how excited Brian is to graduate?!

BLAH.  School is expensive.  Not only is tuition expensive but then you basically have to sell your right arm to buy all your books and computer crap.  Believe me.  I remember it all only too well.

Why the heck are you talking about school Abby?  Get to it already.  Okay okay okay.

With school starting soon, I want to share a little website with you called Campus Book Rentals (a new sponsor of MYS).  If you are in school and getting ready for the semester to start you’ve got to check out their website.  They offer some amazing perks when it comes to purchasing text books:

  • save 40-90% off bookstore prices
  • free shipping both ways
  • can highlight in text books
  • flexible renting periods
  • they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented
Anyway.  Check them out.  Because it would be sad if you had to sell your right arm!

  1. I bought all of my books for this semester used off of Amazon. I have all literature classes this time so I mostly bought novels, but also wound up with two textbooks and two anthologies. A total of ten books for under two hundred dollars! Plus a lot of them I’ll want to keep (if I like them). Unfortunately, I got an email Friday night saying they had removed me from my classes because of “non-payment,” so I’ve had to wait all weekend to contact them about THEIR mistake. Eek!
