Yes, it’s a throwback to the 30’s.  I just HAD to throw it in!  The last few months I’ve been in the production “Annie” at our local theater.  The show closed Friday so I thought in honor of the new friends, the memories and everything else that’s amazing about performing, I’d throw this hairstyle into the mix.  Hope you like it!  Oh and yes, those are extremely fake eyelashes.  Haha as if you couldn’t tell.  I snapped these images on my way out the door to perform.

  1. Abby, I am getting your 30 days just for hairstyle. Well, the others look cute, too… but this one is awesome! Thanks for the cool ideas for hair. It’ll be fun doing a whole month with a different hairstyle every day. 🙂

  2. Oh my goodness! This is utterly adorable. Absolutely beautiful. How do you come up with these hairstyles? A few friends and I are forming a female barbershop quartet and we have been thinking of what to wear… I am going to suggest this hairstyle, because it is just perfect! PS: I have been in Annie, too–twice! I played Grace both times. I am liking you more and more after every post I read. ;0)

  3. LOVE IT! I did it today and post my pic on my blog. It is not perfect yet.. but I got it pretty close on my first time around. Thanks for posting! I have super long hair and am getting tired of just ponytails.

  4. That’s so awesome!! Our Grace did a low bun with a net around it. Then she swooped the bangs back like I did! This is really the only hairstyle I know of that would work! Google 30’s hairstyles though, they did a lot of pin curls and fingerwaves, which my hair was way too long for! Good luck!!

  5. Hey! I found your site through Be Different Act Normal. So glad I stopped by because I’m LOVING all these hair styles! Can’t wait to give them a try. P.S. I’m going to be in Annie this summer! I can’t wait. I’m playing Grace Farrel. Any good hairstyle ideas for me? I’m totally at a loss!

  6. Oh yeah! This one is my favorite so far! New follower here from Lucy’s Photography. I adore your tutorials! I also have long hair and am ALWAYS in need of a new style. Thank you for this.
