Dressing for Fall!

I woke up the other day and do you know what I smelled?  FALL ?.  I smelled fall!!!!  While Ohio had a beautiful fall season, there’s just nothing quite like experiencing fall in Utah.  The mountains and hikes and pumpkin patches.  THE PEACHES ?!  We’ve easily eaten a full tree of peaches so far!  I want to get a post put together of all the amazing fall activities there are to do in Utah.  If you ever visit, there are definitely some things that need to be on your bucket list!  If you’ve lived in Utah, will you pretty please leave a comment with a few of your favorite fall past times?  Maybe it’s a really pretty running trail or a favorite recipe?  Maybe it’s somewhere you like to go for date night, a super yummy restaurant or quaint little theater? Or maybe it’s an activity that’s perfect for the whole family like a gorgeous hike or pumpkin patch?!  I’ve experienced a lot growing up here but I have come to realize that you all know so much better than me and if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I don’t want to take this beautiful state for granted ever again!  Plus I kinda wanna brag on Utah for a minute ?!

For now, I’ll leave you with one of my favorite fall outfits.  This is a simple white button up and I’ve elevated it with a denim jacket, a cute hat, bag, and sunnies.  Once the weather cools off I feel like it’s so easy to throw a cute outfit together because all the extra pieces like jackets and cardigans, hats, scarves, and booties make a simple outfit look so cute and intentional! ??

These black jeans I’m wearing are Hudson jeans.  I bought them last year at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I gotta tell ya, they’re amazing.  The brand is definitely more on the expensive side so try to snag a pair when they’re on sale but they’re literally my very most favorite jeans.  So dang comfy it feels like you’re wearing leggings but they don’t stretch out and lose their shape as you wear them.  I easily wear black jeans 5x a week in the fall/winter so investing in a really good pair was a good move for me!

And of course, you can’t go wrong with a lace up block heel + these ones are 50% off right now… THIRTY BUCKS!!!!  Go snag a pair before your size sells out!  They are so comfortable and the bone color elongates the leg so even though they’re short, they look great dressed up for church!  I have a similar black pair (check out this post here) I got a couple years ago that I wear all the time.  Can’t go wrong with either color!

Wearing LipSense color Strawberry Shortcake.  You can check out all the colors I have to sell here and when you’re ready to purchase, go here.  Their website is super outdated but it’s legit.  And don’t forget to snag a glossy gloss + remover if you’re new!  Annnnd if you’re confused haha just email me at twistmeprettylips {@} gmail and I’ll help you out! ??
