Today I was playing around with some holiday do’s… as you know Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I am so excited for my mother-in-law’s pumpkin pie. It is to die for. And if there is a huge piece missing when the pies are revealed… it wasn’t me. I actually wasn’t planning on doing a hairstyle post this week but just happened upon something pretty cute. Sorry there’s no video. Luckily for you, you should have all the tools you need to get this look. I’m going to go ahead and call this a medium level hairstyle. There are no crazy braids involved… just practicing!
Steps
1. You’re going to tease the roots of your hair and do an alternative braid. Tutorial here.
2. Then loosen the braid like crazy. Don’t tie off the braid until you’ve loosened it, it’ll make it that much easier to tug and pull on those pieces. Tug and tug and tug until the “braid” is nice and thick.
3. You’re then going to take a small piece from the front and a small piece from the back and do a little fancy schmancy. Refer to the picture that says fancy schmancy so you know what pieces I’m talking about. The tutorial for the fancy schmancy is here. You’re basically going to fold the front and back pieces over themselves and secure it with a few bobby pins.
Obviously this is a creative hairstyle so it’s not going to look exactly like mine. But tug and pull and manipulate your hair until it looks how you want and viola! A new fancy do for a super fancy feast!
Gorgeous… just plain gorgeous. Love the lips!! Quick Question a while back you did a give away for a headband company that you loved and you always “borrowed” Savys headbands. Can you please give me the name of it?? Love ya!!!
I think you’re talking about Wynne Marie Ink. You can find her shop on etsy or on facebook! Those are the super beautiful couture headbands. Is that what you’re asking about?

Thanks anna! I look different because I put concealer on my lips. I’ve seen some celebs doing it… it’s supposed to make your eyes stand out. Not sure how I feel about it yet! Thanks for the compliments!!
