Easy and Elegant Twist Hairstyle
I’ve been thinking a lot about easy hairstyles for medium and long hair. This easy and elegant twist hairstyle is one of my favorites! It’s perfect for day 2 or 3 hair when you have a little product in your hair. And, I love how it easily transitions from mom life to date night.

How To Do an Easy and Elegant Twist Hairstyle
Step 1
Use your thumbs to guide you at the part line and gently pull back a section of hair from the crown area. Use your fingers to soften the section if you need to.
Step 2
Pull back a section of hair from the crown. Fold the left part of the section over the right side. Secure with a bobby pin where your finger is holding the section.
Step 3
Gather a section of hair from the front about an inch or so thick, pull out any bangs that you want to keep free of the easy and elegant twist hairstyle. This will help your style look more feminine and romantic.
Step 4
Twist the front section away from the face, and pull it to the crown of your head, following the line of the first twist section you created. Continue pulling it to the spot where you placed the bobby pin.
Step 5
While continuing to hold the twist tight with one hand, pull and stretch the strands of the twist with your free hand to add volume and fullness to the twist.
Step 6
Pin the 2nd twist in place on the right side of the original twist so that it overlaps it and rests slightly below it. Stretch the twist again until you get the look that you want, and make sure that all of the bobby pins are hidden.
Step 7
Now, repeat the previous steps with a section of hair from the other side of your head. Don’t forget to stretch the twist like you did in the previous step and secure it with a bobby pin. Your goal is to make the 3 twists look like one large twist with multiple layers. Use more bobby pins if needed to secure your easy and elegant twist hairstyle.
