Let’s Level Up!
Are you tired of letting the stress of quarantine get you down? You’re not alone. I’m struggling, too! I asked on Instagram what people feel like they need right now and so many of you said that you need more joy and less fear. That really struck me. I need more joy in my life too. It’s hard to feel joy when you’re also feeling un-organized and out of control. So much of our lives is out of our control currently. Fear comes when we lose control. That’s why I feel so strongly that this challenge– Let’s Level Up!– will help all of us to fight the fear that is taking over too much of our mental energy.
Let’s work together to take back our power and find joy in this uncertain time we are in. I truly believe that when we get healthier habits, and we take control over our thoughts and minds, we will gain power over the fear that is running rampant in the world today. I know, for me, this past year has been really eye opening on how much power my mind can have over my life. As I’ve navigated my life being turned upside down from an unexpected divorce and becoming a single mom, I’ve learned a lot about how to fight fear and gain control. I’m really excited to share more of what I’ve learned over this last year with all of you. I know that when we share our stories and we open up about our struggles, it is powerful. Join me in this challenge and level up your life!
How It Will Work
Each day there will be challenges in one of four areas – spiritual, relationship, physical and mental. Every Friday we will do an act of service. These are simple things that shouldn’t take long but we are working on being intentional with our time and what we want out of our life!
I will post my goals and routine when we start on April 20, 2020 on my Instagram account @twistmepretty. Everyday I will be working towards better health, following my macros, drinking water, going to bed early and waking up early. One of my goals is to also connect more with God so prayer and scripture study will be top priorities.
This is a challenge. We aren’t going to be perfect! In today’s isolated world where there is nothing to wake up for, nowhere to be and no one to see, I know I could use the accountability and motivation to be the best person I can and I’m super excited to do work on myself with you!
