Tote Savvy — turning your favorite bag into your favorite diaper bag

f

GUYS!!  The time has come for me to introduce you to the Tote Savvy from Life in Play.  I’ve been using it exclusively for the past few weeks to make sure it’s got all the horsepower you’d need to stay organized while out and about with your little ones.  The Tote Savvy has surpassed all my expectations and I love that I can resurrect some of my old bags!  You can FILL this sucker to brim!!  It’s perfect when your playing the role of mom and need to fill it with a bunch of baby gear or you can use it to simply organize your totes while traveling, going to the beach, gym, work etc…  It’s pretty much the best little invention ever and I love that it turns my favorite spacious totes into functional bags.  And in my case 90% of the time, functional diaper bags!

The picture below is most everything I put in my tote savvy save a few odds and ends like keys, phone, lippies and I totally spaced adding my nursing cover and burp cloths to the picture but they TOTE’s fit bahaha!  Sorry, I couldn’t help myself!  I use to be the mom with the Mary Poppins bag but four kids later and I’m totally over it.  We take the essentials and call it a day.  I keep the tote savvy on our table near our garage and simply pack it inside the bag I want to use before heading out.  I usually have it filled so it makes things quick and swapping out bags a breeze.

Cool right?!  Now that I’ve explained the bag, here are a few pictures of it in action from our night at the park last night.  The big kids were around but they were playing on the playground!

The pockets are large and spacious, big enough to fit a new pack of Kirtland diaper wipes.  Because let’s be honest, with four kids I go through a pack of wipes a day.  The entire package is absolutely necessary!  And you can keep the tote savvy inside your bag of choice, but took it out so you could see what it looks like.

OH those boys.  I can’t believe it was this time last year I found out I was pregnant with them.  Hardest year of my life for sure but the price was totally worth it!

If you’re a bag lady like me and you don’t want to give up those beautiful bags and totes, I absolutely recommend getting the tote savvy!  It’s come in handy so many times and I love that it’s useful for any occasion.  Mom or not.  Let me know if you have any questions in the comments about it and if you want to see more ways to use the tote savvy make sure to checkout the Life in Play blog for tons of inspiration and also bag recommendations that fit the tote savvy!

I tried to link up to everything in this post, let me know if I missed anything!

  1. I bought this early this year. Carrying things around for myself, a toddler, and a baby isn’t easy and this organizer has kept me organized and sane. I know where everything is! I’m not as fashionable as you so I have it in my thirtyone bag and it fits perfect. LOVE IT.

  2. That is so handy! I’m not a mom (and hopefully won’t be anytime soon haha) but I love this idea for someday in the future 🙂
